The Physical Poster Approval Checklist
If you want to promote your event via physical posters on campus noticeboards, you must follow these steps in order:
[ ] Step 1: Get Digital Approval First – Ensure your event is officially created and approved on NUSync, and your poster designs are approved by your Staff Advisor.
[ ] Step 2: Check Location-Specific Permissions – Depending on where you want to put posters, make sure you have permissions from the respective venue owners: Open notice boards: OSA Bus stops: NUSSU UTown: UTown Admin Halls, Residences & Faculties: Respective management offices
[ ] Step 3: Request the Endorsement Stamp – Request an OSA endorsement stamp via the NUSync form (this must be completed by your OSA liaison person).
[ ] Step 4: Get Stamped – Once OSA arranges a date and time, head to the OSA office to physically stamp your printed posters.
[ ] Step 5: Display & Clean Up – Hang your posters on the designated general noticeboards. You must take down all posters within 3 days after your event ends. For inquiries, email osastudentleadership@nus.edu.sg and review the campus Responsible Poster Usage guidelines.
On-campus Outdoor Banners
Banner spaces are managed entirely by their respective venue owners.
Write directly to the specific venue owners to inquire about availability, and make sure to include all of your organization's contact details in the email.
